Wow it seems like the PP training would make some seriously insecure dogs. But I don't know anything about it.

I'm sorry to have troubled you. I was told that the frontline will kill them right off. So when they didn’t go away immediately I was told must have a big problem. (I think my problem is the one that I was getting advice from) I think I will get some stuff to put in my yard though. I don’t think there is any fleas in the house because I have never see them, and believe me I have looked.

Ok I got the Frontline form the vet I gave the cat a bath. 1. I got my arms shredded by the cat. I put the Frontline on the cat. The cat is now free of fleas. I vacuumed the whole house. Cleaned the dogs bedding. I gave the dog a bath, put the Frontline on the dog, and she still has fleas. Ahhhggahh. Is there anything I can do to get the fleas off of her. Fleas are still on her *screams*

I don't know what I would do if a dog bit me down there. But I know it would never happen again.

Aside from the fact that the lady was nuts. I want to know why she was having such a hard time holding on to a dog that only weighs about 20lbs.

I'm glad you are taking this so well. And it sounds like you have a good plan. I wish you luck

I'm so sorry here that. Monsta was doing so well too. Is there anyway you could just do the agility training without the other dogs around? I know that’s not point but I’m sure you can find other fun and less stressful things to do with your doggy.

Of I just know the mouse traps would work. She hates loud noises. Once she knocked over the vacuum cleaner. Now she gives it wide berth.

Here is the story. Me and my fiance received some used furniture from the lady that I clean house for. It is very good condition, and I would like it to stay that way. Here is the thing. I had no problem keeping Jetta off my old furniture. But with this new stuff, it’s like she is sneaking around just waiting for me to leave the room so she can jump on it. I can’t really blame her the furniture is very comfortable. But she has her own bed in the same room. I have done the same thing that I did with the old furniture. Shake the penny filled pop bottle, when she tries to get up on it. Praise her when she is down and being good. But she just waits until I can’t see her, then it’s up on the couch. She was doing so well before, I just don’t want to have to go back to keeping her with me at all times. I mean, I do watch her but she is so much more relaxed, when she can just come and go. And play in any room. Have the run of the hallway and stuff. Help!

Hi. I’m sure someone one on this forum can give you better advice then me, but here is my two cents. ;D
First off I read somewhere that dogs can’t see depth like we can. So stairs are much more scarey for them.
The first day Jetta came home, she ran full speed into my kitchen, and crashed hard into the back door. After that she wouldn’t set one paw on the kitchen floor. She would just stand in the doorway and look at me.
So what I did was set her foodbowl inside the kitchen’s doorway. Just enough so that she would stick her head in, and eat. Every other day I would move the bowl just a bit farther into the room, so that she was finally walking across the floor to get to her bowl.
I remember that for a while she would only come into the kitchen for feeding, but I guess she learned that the kitchen was fun, and she stopped associating it with falling down.
So maybe you could slowly have him get accustom to the stairs just one thing at a time. Like starting with setting at the top and not being scared. Then moving down, over time.
Forcing him down will only make him more scared. Because it wont show him the stairs as fun.
Also I have read that comforting a dog when it is showing fear, is bad. Its like telling your dog that it’s ok to be scared.
Hope I helped a little. ;D

I thought you were posting this wanting Finn too! Nope I’m dumb but I’m not as dumb as that. I guess the people that wanted to buy Finn, would expect to get the modal along with the swimsuit. She tried it again last night. I ignored her, and it took only about five minuets for her to give up.

Jetta is doing well with her housebreaking. But I there is one thing that is slightly bugging me. She likes to false advertize her needs to go potty, about once or twice a day. Example: It’s nighttime, I take her out, she goes potty #1 and #2. So then she wants to go in. So we go in and we set around doing our nightly stuff. Then in about maybe 15min she wants to go out again. And I think there is no way she would have to go out again in 15min. But I don’t want her to pee on the floor, because I know she wont hold it. So out we go, and of course no potty just a lot of sniffing. Is there any way I can stop this
