I’m sure there is someone here that can give you better advice then me, but here is what I did with Jetta. When I first got Jetta she liked to nip at my face. Well I after the first few times she did it I knew it had to stop. I sat down where she could bite me if she wanted. Then I let her lick my face. then as soon as she bit me I gave a loud and firm “NO!” I did this in brief sessions of five minutes for about a day. I don’t recall how many times it took but it wasn’t more then ten. She doesn’t bite anymore. I’m sure if the “No” doesn’t get your dog attention a spray bottle would. Edit. When your training the dog not to this don’t do anything that the dog might see as playing. Like pulling away and fast movements.

I got a smaller bottle and it doesn’t freak her out as bad. Now if I could just get my man to use it. Or maybe I should shake the big one at him when he acts up.

Hi, well I’m trying the noise bottle thing with this. I think it’s working. But I kinda think it’s scaring her a bit to much. I’m going to try a smaller bottle though. I will keep you posted.

I will try that right now. Edit. She wouldn’t do it this time. I think maybe she knows I’m on the other side of the door. I will try again tomorrow, when she is feeling more frisky.

Jetta has started jumping on the doors in the house. Mostly when I leave the room, and close the door. Telling my fiancé to correct her is like talking to a brick wall. He did correct her a few times but now he doesn’t even notice when she does it. I have tried yelling “no” when I heare her do it. But I’m sometimes down stairs when she does it. So I don’t think that has much affect. She never does it when I’m in the room so what do, I do?

Oh he was just trying to show you that he’s not a girly man. What! you mean you don’t want his perfume sprinkled all over. I’m shocked! ;D

That's the thing. I don't know anybody that has a nice young dog that she could play with. And the neighbors dog hates Jetta.

I'm so glad Moosie is learning to trust other dogs. My dog is not that way, but she is just so playful I know she would have a good time. I wish I could just tell her the it will be ok, and that she would understand me.

LOL My Fiancé taught Jetta to speak in ten minutes. Now sometimes when she seese a treat in my hand, she starts barking. But my dog is just a loud mouth. That’s why she learned so quick.

Oh wow thats great. I'm glad your dog is doing well. I don’t know if I have seen any pics of your dog before. But if you have any could you post them or give me the link. My dog, Jetta she still gets a little upset about strangers but she has got a lot better with the NILIF. How old is Zoe? And keep us posted.

Man you have got nerve. I would be a nervus wreck if I were in your shoes. I would be like “No sir that’s not a prong collar its just a spiky boa.” “Oh I give up! It’s a prong collar, pleas don’t take my dog away.”
