Talk about fast service.. ;D ;D
She is gorgoeus, just stunning. I wouldn't care if she was purple.
But, I was thinking much smaller. I don't think I can handle two large prey driven dogs by myself. Although the age is fine..between 2 and 4 is good. But definately smaller. I will be back at school full time in the fall and I was thinking I would like to be able to walk both dogs together due to time constraints and I am only 107lbs. So the smaller the better.
Also, since I have a dog door, it has to be a dog that won't try to get out of the yard. So I don't think a sibe would do well with that freedom. I am still thinking about this. But based upon our experience yesterday, I think Petey would love a sister. I have to train him more first and think it out a bit more. But thanks for the speed of your response. I hope that beauty finds a good home soon.

What a beautiful girl, and I love the name too! That is one I was considering for my *next* Aussie, but maybe I should consider a white Sibe!!!!! I WANT ANOTHER DOG TOO!!!!! But I agree with Nicki....no more puppies!!! Ann, I really think you should adopt Skye. She would be the perfect match for you and Blade.

I was just thinking....when I lived in Mt., every spring my best buddy and I would get *horse fever* and run around looking at horses. Sometimes the *fever* would pass before we found what we wanted, and sometimes not and we would buy at least one. Well, there was a local (loco) horse trader who had beautiful horses, but most were untrained, so we would look at his horses and then decide we wanted one a little more trained, because we just didn't have the time it took to finish the horse ourselves and we wanted horses we could already ride. It got to the point that my buddy and I decided we wouldn't go look at anymore of *Cuz'* horses, because it was getting embarrassing! One spring I was pouring over the want ads and saw an ad for a wonderful sounding horse and the phone number was not Cuz', so I called. We talked for a minute and then the man said, "Is this the lady that always comes and looks at my horses and never buys?* I said, "IS THIS CUZ" ? (He had changed his phone #). My friend and I still laugh about the reputation we got every now and then, and I am still embarrassed. Guess now I get *dog fever* in the spring and better quit before I get *the* reputation.

Well guys I had a chance at a second dog today Bob and I and Matt took a ride to Oconto, and when we got home I saw this big black dog in my yard over by Blade's x pen. I got out and did a check the dog was friendly so I called it over. It was a lab/shep mix NICE MIX female, no collar nothing! She looked like she was going to pop at any minute, OH YES she was with child MANY, MANY CHILDREN! I put a slip leash on her and tried to see if she would get along with Blade cause I would have put them in the pen together. NO WAY she was just a little dog aggresive. Poor Blade when she growled and snapped at him he looked at me as if to say " GEE I JUST WANT TO PLAY" I put Blade in the house and put her in the pen. Went in and called the police to come and get her. She was very well trained and that is why I can't understand how someone could just let her go without a collar with tags. I think they dumped her because of her condition Even when she was snarling at Blade I said LEAVE IT and she did right away. I hope she gets a good home it's obvious to me that the owners will not claim her. The police take the dogs over to the vet clinic Town and Country instead of the shelter. The vet then try's to find them homes if no one claims them and if they can't then they go to the shelter I am going to call in a few days and see if anybody claimed her. She really is a nice dog. ;D

You know Nicki they don't all try to escape, and really walking two dogs Petey being the largest isnt that bad. Way back when in fact not that long ago I only weighed 105#'s and I use to walk two VERY large labs for my neighbor without a pinch collar. I am only 5 ft 1 1/2 inches tall so those labs came up to my hip. I understand where you are comming from though. You are where I am at. I want that second dog so bad I can taste it but I must be fair to all involved and if I don't think the timing is perfect I wont do it. I want to be able to interact with Blade, Matt and dog #2 at the same time without incedent that is why I got a pup (Blade) because I was not comfortable with Matt being so young, not having a dog for him to grow up with and build that everlasting bond. I have seen alot of nice young adults though and if given a good honest history on their backgrounds I wouldnt be to afraid of bringing one in. Siberians are not all that big though usually. I just have one that kind of goes off the chart at 25 inches tall and 72#'s and he is not FAT he is all muscle and they tell me he will fill out just a little more and probably be around 75#'s at maturity. So don't be afraid of the husky size usually they are about 22/23 inches tall and only 55 to 65#s

I quickly went and got a paper this afternoon after I got home because I wanted to see if they put an add in about the stray. Well I am looking and come across " Found Lab Dog Heavy Set" What's up with that I thought So I called the vet and they told me that the officer had gotten the dogs mixed up. The one that I had them come and get did not have her puppies yet, and the other that he brought in earlier that day had the 11 pups. Well Good God what he found two lost children in the same day would he call the wrong parents? Anyway mommy and pups are doing well, and the reason they did not put an add in about her is that the owners will be comming to get them when it is safe to move the whole darn batch. It was a complete accident that she got lose and was only two blocks from their home when she got picked up. I also called the police officer to tell him that he was very confused I know him pretty well so I cut him slack for the confusion, you know we have soooooooo much crime here YEAH RIGHT

I can't even imagine doing that!! Thanks for the compliment Amyjo, but I have always wanted a dog small enough that when they annoyed me I could just swoop them up in one arm and stick them in the closet! You know I am just kidding!!!

I thought you were serious... I would DO it! People are always telling my husband and I we should have kids because we are so good to our dogs.... I always say "yeah well you can't lock the kids in the basement when they get on your nerves!"
On another note....Elvis just helped himself to some "Scrubbing Bubble" flavored water out of the toilet! The vet said no worries but watch him close. WHat a dumbass - yeah... I'd be a great parent!
