John's oldest son came over this afternoon, and accidentally let Cheyenne out the front door . So who here thinks I went bonkers ? Got her back with the help of Jaeger, whom she loves, and vice versa, go figure . My FIL sent him out with a retrieve directive, and sonavagun, if he didn't get her 2 blocks up the street by chasing her into a driveway!! Damm that dog is good , I can only hope my own are one-tenth that well trained someday .

That would be the life to have a dog trained that well...someday maybe.
Laura I LOVE that picture of your dogs. They are gorgeous!!

Wow, that's impressive. Jaeger, I mean, not the letting out of Cheyenne. I've never seen a dog retrieve another dog. What a legend.

Loki and Layla are some kind of Golden/Spitz mix, if we had to guess, pretty dogs for mutts ;D. Layla looks the most like a golden, but with a thicker coat. And yeah, we don't call them the terrible twosome for nothin' ! Well behaved out in public, but definetely short bus material . I have to get a pic of Jaeger, he's a huge black and tan GSD from Tiekerhook, he's going to be 9 in June, and he's the apple of my FIL's eye . I think he loves him more than his grandchildren .

I don't know how I missed this post!!! I am so glad everything turned out o.k. Laura, thanks to Jaeger. That is a remarkable dog with remarkable training. (sigh and drool). And, yes, your dogs are beautiful. I was going to ask about them the other day and got side tracked!
