just some fyi... i went through carsdirect.com and bought my car right off the internet! sounds crazy huh? i thought so too... but i HATE HATE HATE car salesman (no offense if there are any here)...but i see them coming and my defense wall just goes up. i'm usually just like...leave me alone lol. i knew exactly what i wanted in a vehicle and i heard about carsdirect through a friend. so i tried it. went online gave my # and someone called me within 24 hours as promised. i did everything over the phone and through emails. i told them what i wanted, they hunted it down...and a brand new suv was delievered to my door! no salesman, no hassles, no nothing! just an awesome new car! not to mention we saved THOUSANDS! it truly was sooo much cheaper than any dealer can promise you! i def recommend carsdirect. i know theres many more of these online companies coming out. but since i know carsdirect firsthand...i recommend! (now i lied when i said all this...as it was really my boyfriend who did all this in reality...as this was a suprise for my 21st birthday..but you get the gist )

I am SOOOOOOOOOO very pleased with my Caravan. It rides great It drives great There is so much more room than in a car And the payment Well I will just suck that up. I should have bought one of these sooner instead of another Lumina but live and learn. I am just glad I could make it happen ;D

I don't know if I have the guts to purchase a car online. Not being able to take it to someone I trust to check it out prior to purchase just doesn't sit well with me.
I had an uncle get scewed over purchasing a car online. He was well off and was stupid enough to pay her in cash. If he had not done that he would have been fine. but the lady drove from the next state to deliver it and said she needed cash to get back and she was selling the car because she had no money.
He ended up having to leave it when he moved to another state because the seller refused to send him the title and stuff. He couldn't do anything to get the car registered. She got his money, gave him the car along with the keys but refused to give him the title. He was afraid that she would have reported it stolen. He looked into taking her to court to get the title or his money back but found out she had done this many times in the past and she had been taken to court often for the same things which did no good.
I've kind of been lucky because my mother was a car salesman for quite a few years and my grandfather owns his own car lot. If I need help they are right there with me because they knew the trade. I've been in good hands with them.
