This is one of our families biggest celebrating holidays ;D (We're Irish) It's right up there with christmas and thanksgiving for us....family loves the green beer...well...it doesn't have to be green...or beer ;D. Unfortunately...my stomach does not I hope you all have a great one. I'm so happy to be home to celebrate it! Don't forget to wear your green!

And a happy one to you too!! Brian has some Irish in him as well. ;D I may make corned beef and cabbage tonight if I can find a recipe. Although the thought of boiling raw corned beef isn't exactly appealing to me right now...

Yuk, skip the boiled beef and green beer. Wear green and drink regular beer . (Why in the heck would anyone BOIL beef, ug. Luckily I'm in Princeton this week so my husband won't expect me to stink up my house with that mess). I think I'll have pizza tonight and eat it with a brough (or however you spell it ). I forgot to pack my green and am wearing a lavendar shirt today . But I'm also wearing my red hair and freckles . Right Laura!

Happy St. Pats to you all ;D! Yes, we will be indulging in the corned beef, I personally love it, nothing like a big, fat sandwich the next day with good rye and a swipe of mustard! I have to pass on the beer , no alcohol for me, I take Remicade, bummer . But here's to all those who can, I salute you ! And yeah Beth, I thought you were Italian when I met you, NOT ! The two of us look like we came from Cork County ;D. BTW, you guys know what a seven course Irish meal is? A six-pack and a baked potato !

You notice how I'm home and not at the lab ? I never go in on St. Pats, takes about a 20 minute commute, normally, and it turns into an hour and a half ride to get into the city, with the parade. Compound that with the snow, fugheddaboutit ;D!
