Yes, I find it hard to imagine an "miniture GSD or Sibe"....but look, the logic would be: "they can sit in your lap without busting it!!"

A woman I work with recently brought home a puppy 'teacup' Yorkie. At full adult size it will stand about 20 centimeters tall and weigh less than one pound. So at cost per ounce, a million dollar dog. And I'm thinking, cute, but that's not a dog - it's not even a kitten.

I find that a wee bit scary, one pound?! That is no longer a dog in my book, it's a dustrag!

And Ann, there is such a thing as a mini husky, not officially recognized yet by the AKC, but will be soon. They're called Alaskan Klee Kai, some woman started the breed about 15 years ago. Just what we needed .

The perfect size for putting in the closet when they bug you. Just kidding. ;D I have actually never seen a teacup dog. It sounds adorable. I would be afraid I would step on it by accident.

I have never seen a tea cup dog either, except on t.v. or pictures. I don't know about stepping on them...are they ever actually on the floor? Seriously, that could be a problem. I'm sure I told you about my brother in laws neighbor coming into his house and accidently stepping on his Golden pup and killing it!!! If that happened to me, I think I would move! I wouldn't be able to face the person again if I killed their dog! Of course she did go buy him another pup from the same litter, but didn't tell the breeder what happened to the first one!

I've seen teacup chihuahua's and dachsunds and they are sooooo cute but I'm so used to the big barbarian dogs.

OMG no! No way! Not a chance. More dog for the money....I would have paid billions for Peeka if that was the case.
