Hey I just found out today that AOL is cutting its unlimited access price by about $7. This will only be available if you call and specifically request the new rate (of course) otherwise if you already have AOL you will continue to be charged the rediculous $23.
My grandmother called today and recieved this new price so I know this is for real. Here is the info I got today. ------------
They have dropped the price of the unlimited AOL service in order to compete with other service providers. It is now $14.95 a month for unlimited...it used to be $23.95. They put the lower price into effect this past weekend, but you have to call and request the new unlimited plan. One catch is that you have to agree to keep the service for 12 months. They will begin advertising the new plan within the next couple of weeks, but you can call now and start saving some money sooner. 14.95 a month if you commit to 12 months of service
1-888-265-8008 OR 8003 (AOL customer service)
If you cancel before that time is up you pay a one-time $50 fee.
