What should you expect?
As of 2/2005 we are enlisting a new rule.
If four separate members PM Managment requesting a ban of another member action will be taken to remove that member indefinately.
1. You should expect to be treated as you would treat others.
If you choose to be rude you will be given a warning. Failing to abide by that warning you will either be asked to leave or you will not have a choice in the matter.
2. You should expect that you will be treated fairly, openly and honestly.
If you are having an issue with other members you want resolved please pm the admin or one of the mods. The links to PM mailboxes are in the information box at the top of every page. If you do not address the issue with them do not EXPECT moderation or results. We attempt to remain as neutral as possible.
Please be completely aware this is a public forum which is in view fully of whomever visits this site. If you are not comfortable with airing your personal business to strangers please maintain the discussion in a more private manner.
3.You can expect open criticism, some given constructively and others less constructively.
This is a community of diverse people, with different beliefs by their dogs and styles of training which they use. This does not mean you can say as you please without consequence. The admin reserves the right to lock, edit and delete or move anything written.
Please respectfully, maturely and tactfully state your opinions.
No one is better than anyone else here but please understand that there are very experienced people here who have seen and even been apart of many experiences. Sometimes bluntness is necissary in very special cases where someone is not getting the "reality' of their problem.
Understand there will be those that read what you write differently than what you may have wanted them to interpret it and their opinions are not always going to agree with yours. Use common sense, decency and civility while participating here in Reality.
4. You should be expected to be treated maturely.

2.We expect you to voice your opinions.

When will things be deleted or locked?
We absolutely hate censorship but it is necissary.
While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message as soon as it is posted. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.
Topics and posts can be (and will be) deleted if they are obscene, pornographic, or of a nature that is, for obvious reasons, degrading to any specific member(s), or in principle or if it's presence continues to cause an uproar. It may also be deleted if the original topic creator has asked that it be removed.
If we find you are participating in illegal activities or activities or issues that are harmful or pose a danger to yourself or others, you are causing issues with other websites we reserve the right to use whatever resources we have to report it to the proper channels if we feel warranted. That includes your words and Internet Service Provider number.

Topics will be locked. This is generally done when discussions start moving toward being petty, or totally negative content. Ultimately we like for things to hopefully work themselves out but for the sake of the board if that does not look like it is going to happen in a timely manner we will do what is necissary.
Our goal prior to deletion is to have all Admin and Gmods discuss the outcome prior to end result action being taken. The thread may be removed to the admin panel for review and possible record keeping or sent to the appropriate forum such as temper temper or debate. A thread may be produced letting others know where the thread was moved.
If the thread or post serves no purpous to the board or was posted as an obvious dramatic personal statment intended for negative reaction it may be deleted on the spot and the issue will be mediated accordingly depending on the situation.

Try to keep from hi-jacking threads. It is understandable that threads will venture off sometimes but It can be irritating for someone looking for answers to have someone ask a separate question and change their subject. Please keep the forums on topic.
