We just adopted a 2.5 year old Rhodesian ridgeback lab mix. Her previous owner spent a lot of money training her. She is extreme well trained. Doesn't jump, comes and stays when called, super mellow great dog.... except she started growling at our two year old. She is great with the 10 and 7 year old but will growl at the baby for no reason. She is fine with him petting her, accepts treats very gently from him, but will occasionally (unprovoked) growl at him when he's just standing a couple feet away. He's not touching her toys or near her food, he's usually just doing his own thing. We tried the submission thing, flipping her on her back and having the baby stand over her to show dominance but not quite sure if that's the right route to take...
