I am new...
My name is Jesci... I am a 32 year old married mom to three kids a great mouser kitty and my brand new lil baby boy who we belive is some kind of retriever/shepard mix. He is the most adorable thing I have ever seen. I have been reading up on getting a dog for ages... and what kind I wanted... my husband wanted a shepard... I wanted a golden retriever... maybe if we do a good job with training and stuff we will have the best of both worlds.
He came home today and we have started house training and crate training right away. So far so good... he has gone potty outside mostly but had two accidents. Its been a long while since I had a puppy. Hopefully everything comes back to me quickly lol
Its nice to meet everyone... Good Nite!

We named him Sampson... Not sure if it will stick yet... the kids are having a hard time remembering it so far. My digital camera broke a couple weeks ago when we took a trip to the Smokies... Water and Electronics do not mix. LOL Mabye Santa will take pity on me and get me a new one for Christmas. Sampson is 8 weeks last Friday. He seems very large for an 8 week old puppy. I think he is going to be very large... he can already go up and down the stairs by himself. I am not sure who is going to require more training... the puppy or the kids. They are driving me nuts! Of course they are so excited... but good gracious... I will be glad when they lose some interest and things calm back down around here. Thanks for the warm welcomes!! Hugs Jesci
