Hello all. I was seaching the net when I came across this forum. I have lurking for a while but thought it was time to make my intros!
I am a stay at home mom of two beautiful daughters with a houseful of animals including ferrets, cats, a rabbit, a hamster and rats I aslo have 3 dogs and all of them are rescues.
Tessie who will be turning 3 on Feb 14 (Happy B-day Tessie) is a black lab/border collie mix, whom I adopted from the SPCA and who was abused and had never seen the inside of a house.
Misty just turned 4 on Feb 1, is a purebred silkyterrier (papered), she is a big baby who was crated most of her life when she did get out of the crate she immediately pooped and peed on her owners bed and was therefore recrated. Since I have had her she has not been crated and has a very happy life.
Noelle who was born Aug 22, 2004 is a Miniture American Eskimo/ Pom cross who is so cute. She was also adopted out of the SPCA and her owner said this 5 pound dog was trying to kill her(the owner).
I have always had dogs in my life and wouldn't know what life would be like without them. They get on my nerves by times...but then so do my kids!!
Well that is enough of an intro...I look forward to talking with you all and learning from you. Never to late to teach an old dog new tricks!!
Take care
Shannon
PS I would include pics of my dogs...but I am not sure how!! Thanks.
S.

Hello and welcome. I am looking forward to hearing about your animal pack (except the rats ;D) I can't help with the pictures, because I still don't know how to do it. I think you have to post them on some website and then from there to here or something like that. ;D

Welcome to the board. Here's how I post photographs. There may be better ways, and I hope I can explain it! 1) click on the Photo bucket link at the top of this page under 'Tools'. Join Photobucket. (It's free) 2) log onto to Photo bucket and add your picture using the Add picture tools. 3) Hit browse, and find the picture you want. It's either stored in a folder on your hard drive, or on a disc in your CD drive. 4) Click on the picture your want to upload, hit submit and be patient. In a few minutes your picture will show up in your photo bucket album 5) Log onto Reality Bites and start your post, or reply to another post. Hit the fourth button from the left on the bottom row (the one that looks like a picture ) 6) Photo bucket will show you three different names for your photo - URL, Tag and Image. Use the Image name. Copy it out of photobucket and paste it inbetween the image tags [ IMG] photo-name-file-goes-here[ /IMG] Like this: 7) if your photo is too big, use the edit tools in photobucket to make it display smaller.

Hey, petkeeper, just noticed your swish tri-canine avartar, you're either a ringer or a quick study. Please don't post too many rat pix, I'm with Nicole on that one.
