Hi everyone!! I just joined so i guess i should tell you all a little about myself. My name is Em and i'm 16 years old. I live in central PA and i'm homeschooled!! I work at a veterinary clinic and i have a 5 year old cat named Munchkin. I have never had my "own" dog before, but i have just adopted a beagle that someone left at the vet as they could not afford the care for his sever pneumonia. His name is Barclay and he is about a year old. He was really sick for awhile and almost didnt make it, but he pulled through and now he's going to be living with me!! Now i know beagles can be slightly difficult, so i figured i should be prepared to accept some help! So far he has been great in his crate, and almost completely housebroken.....I plan on enrolling him in obedience classes, and maybe agility, as i want him to be well socialized and behaved! Welll this is getting really long, soo thats it for now, and thanks for allowing me to join the board!! I will post pics of Barclay once i figure out how too! Em

What a cutie-patootie of a face!! He's absolutely the cutest beagle pup I've ever seen. Beagles do well in all kinds of sports and activities...field trials, agility...you could even teach him to 'hunt' for certain things. A beagle always seems happiest when his nose is on the ground. ;D Anyways, welcome to RB.
