Greetings, thought I would take a moment to introduce myself and my girls. I have had dogs for many years, though I just started learning to "train" dogs. I dont have any titles to brag about, though I have had my share of successes with the dogs I have worked with. Currently I have three dogs: Sage is a GWP she was a rescue case I received when she was 6 months old. Sage grew up in a pasture like a horse with fellow littermates, was given only as much attention as throwing food into a feeder would allow. Conka is a GSD, and Dootie is a catahoula/lab mix she is my little superstar. She is very shy, but has an amazing attitude about being worked and learns very fast. If we can work through her fear she will be a wonderful companion dog maybe even a service dog for a gal in VA. I could spend hours talking about my dogs, I look forward to sharing our successes and getting to know everyone and their dogs. Have a great day!

Hello and welcome to Reality ! And on this board, we all learn something new all the time about dogs, novices and seasoned professionals alike, that's what makes it fun and interesting. And trust me, we can blab on all day about our hounds here , you picked good company to keep ;D.

I am actually learning how Sage feels just before she snaps, this experience is providing more insight than just telling me I am an idiot and making me feel like I should never touch another dog. Either way I am not taking the easy way out and "Discarding" my dog, or giving up on the board. Its not her fault I have made mistakes.
