They say memories are golden well maybe that is true I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you, a million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place no one could ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane, I'd walk the path to heaven and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Ok I am trying not to cry... I just wanted tell you all about my dog Earnest, the best dog I could ask for. Was my sweet little man. He was a Border Collie, Beagle mix. He had the most beautiful eyes. He always did a happy dance when he seen me. He liked to sleep on top of his dog house. One time when I hurt my ankle he snapped his chain in two, so he could get to my side. He loved to go walking with me for miles. He always came to me when I called for him. He liked me to hold him, even though he was a bit to big. He had a smile that warmed my hart. And I will love him forever.
Ever consider what our dogs must think of us? I mean, here we come back from a grocery store with the most amazing haul -- chicken, pork, half a cow. They must think we're the greatest hunters on earth! -Anne Tyler
