I'm SO tired right now. My throat hurts from all the high pitched happy voice , my knees are KILLING me (I have osgoodshlaughter's Disease), I'm sweating like a pig and TOTALLY worn out but I couldn't be happier!!
Today I walked down to Suspenders (an hour walk, but this time it took us two hours cuz it was hot out so we stopped in the shade on the way). Came back and ate junk food that we bought there, and then did agility for like TWO HOURS! We got so into it the time flew right by.
Of course we gave the dogs rests and stuff, Coal still had some left in him I know he did We changed the course about three times, making it harder each time. This was Duke (Lexie's dog)'s first time since agility classes a couple years ago on the equipment, so a lot of stuff was new, but it seemed to come back to him pretty quick. Duke is also a lot older than Coal.
SO, the last course we did we timed eachother (One thousand and One, one thousand and Two... ect.). This course went like this:
Coal's best time was 18 Seconds.
Dukes was 30 seconds.
;D
So, my friend Mandi is going to bring her equipment out here on Tuesday (she has more than me so Yay) and we're going to practice together when we can, and plus she's going to start her "ABC" (Agility Bound Canine) Classes soon and once she gets all the legal stuff settled for that we are going to hold it out here at my place. (She lives in town that's why, she has a smaller yard and I've got LOTS of room!)
Of course the dogs MUST be on leashes at all times because we don't have a fenced in yard, and they MUST 'do their business' in the bushes cuz we took some time to teach Coal to do it and we're not going to have our yard messed up but strange dogs
Lexie said she'd love to come and train every other night or so so YAY! Hopefully with all this training I'll have Coal in a trial before ya know it!
