Yesterday a girl at work brought in her new pup It is a Beagel. The pup is 6 weeks old and in probably the worst shape I ever saw. Not only is the pup to young, but it has a broken tail, deformed front leg and not healthy looking at all. This is her first dog, and she has no clue, although it is pretty obvious to anyone. She was telling me that this breeder is so professional and gives you a bunch of shots to take home with you, to give a certain intervals, gives this big lecture on puppy care etc... I was MAD I told her that this pup was in bad shape and if it were me I would be going right back to this PRO BREEDER and demanding my money back. I pointed out the fact that this pup was to young, had some serious physical defects along with some health issues. I showed her the leg and explained that this was not normal, and no the pup would not grow out of it like the breeder told her , I also showed her the tail, and no that would not go away either no matter what this woman told her , and then I said "SHE IS SICK" and needs to go to the vet ASAP . I almost made her cry, but I am sorry this poor girl had no idea and alot of people don't. She got the dog from somewhere on the other side of Green Bay called Nickles, and she said the woman bred and showed them, well then I asked what she paid for her, $450 I blew I have convinced her to let me call this breeder after she takes the pup in for a check up. This is a job for DR. KIM because I know he will be very TICKED. and even though I can't stand him, I do know he will back you up if you have been shafted by a breeder. I was so angery to see this poor pup in the awful shape it was in and then to find out that she paid that ridiculous amount of money for it What the hell is wrong with people. The leg probably can be fixed with surgery but not 100% the tail is a loss, and I told her you could have gotten a dog at a shelter that was in better shape then this one and it would have only cost you $100. You wait till I talk to this breeder, I might just have to contact the Humane Society and report her. She is going in to the vet today, and we will see, I have a very bad feeling about this.
