I have always felt that way. The dog comes out a certain way and why do we change that? The only thing I have ever done is get dew claws removed. Tail docking dosent bother me as much as ears, but I like to see the dog in its natural state not altered to look a certain way because we dicided they should

The clinic i work at is one the only one in the town i live in that will doc ears, and only one doc will do it. It amazes me that people with spend close to $300 just for the look. I mean they arent show dogs so why do it?

I really upset some people on a Aussie breed list by saying I like the docked tail, because otherwise a lot of Aussie's look like Border Collies and the *elite* of the group really got ticked at me and said *if you knew your Aussie's you would see a big difference between them and a BC. They are nothing alike. Well, I have only been in Breed Rescue's, and don't habitually go to breed shows because I think it's ridiculous, but I can show them a lot of Aussie's and BC's that look very similar!! Well, exccccuuuuussssseeee me! I left that group then and there!
