yes, my little girl has FSF. It'll eventually kill her.. It causes swelling in her hocks, and it can lead to kidney failure. So she's on meds for the rest of her life... Ugh just another issue..

Ugh, what awful news...will the meds at least give her a fighting chance to have a quality life? Stuff like this sucks.

most dogs with FSF die between 3 to 5 yrs of age.. Sassy is going on 4 . With the meds dogs rarely live past 2yr's of treatment. so either way it's not a good thing.

I've never heard of this disease before. What terrible news, and I'm sorry to hear about her bad prognosis. Please give her a cuddle for me.
