It looks like Boo has an eye infection. It's all red and kind of crusty looking around his eye and he keeps scratching at it.
So, it's off to the vet first thing in the morning. But, is there anything I can give him for tonight that will help with the itchiness? I have hot spot spray and things like that, but I'm sure that can't be good to put near his eye.
thanks!

An eye wash with a very weak tea solution at room temperature will help soothe the eye. The tanins in the tea help reduce the size of the of the enlarged veins. Most eye infections are really shallow, and a gentle bath usually helps. Just drop a few drops into the eye, and use your finger to help close the lid for a few minutes after.
It can't hurt, and should provide temporary relief until you can get a proper treatment from the vet.
