There has been a great deal of chatter regarding these devices for repelling fleas on dogs. I've done some research on their effectiveness through the internet and these are my findings:
According to: Iowa State University of Veterinary Sciences University of Nebraska Veterenary Sciences Oklahoma State University of Veterinary Sciences American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Dr James O. Noxom, Professor of Veterinary Clinic Services
These devises have been proven to be totally ineffective in repelling or killing fleas. (Big Bummer)

I also wonder just how safe these devises are? A friend of mine was thinking of getting some sort of ultra sound pest repellent devises that you plug into a wall socket and it is supposed to send out some sort of high frequency sound wave or electrical charge or some thing, and I wonder if these could cause cancer. I know a lot of people scoff at that being possible, saying I don't "understand" how elec. charges/sound waves etc. work and they are right about that, but I also know I have seen where people who live near power lines, for instance, have more cancer, so I am suspicious of these things too.
