It's COLD COLD COLD here and the snow is crazy this year! I LOVE IT! But pretty much everyone else hates it, Divina especially. My little girl weighs in at 10.5 pounds and is practically naked. Someone told me that I should fatten her up to keep her warmer. If I let her gain a little bit of weight will that help her at all??? I figure it won't make much of a difference unless she gains a lot of weight. She's still in agility and I keep her thin especially because she has mildly luxating patellas. What are your thoughts.....?

That's what I was thinking. If I did anything I'd only put a pound on her (that's a lot for a munchkin!) and I figured that wouldn't make much difference. My family and a lot of people think that she's under weight but her chiropractor said that she's definitely not under weight, especially with her knee problem.
She's got plenty of hoodies and sweaters. I was cleaning out my drawers a couple of weeks ago and her winter apparel amounts to something like 4 hoodies and 7 sweaters! She's really hard to fit since she's got such a short body but her chest is really deep. I finally found something from Pet Edge that fit her perfectly and they were only $5!! So I stocked up.

That is good advise from Sibemom and her chiropractor and it sounds like she is quite the fashion statement with her hoodies and matching red collar and leash. ;D

I used to make fun of people who put clothes on their dogs and damn it! Now I'm one of them... It's all her fault though, if she had more hair she wouldn't need a coat!
Oh well, at least I'm not doing it because I think it's cute, only because I need to keep my little beast warm! ;D
