Immediate Disclaimer: She will be going to the vet as soon as I can get her in and I have a paycheque (getting tomorrow) in the bank.
For the last couple of weeks, Zoe's been vomiting.
Not "ewwwww spew!" kind of vomiting, but little round circles of yellow bile.
Her appetite is fine, if she doesn't eat breakfast (an occasional thing and been the norm with her since she was 6 weeks) she eats dinner.
No, she doesn't suck it down, in fact, "sucking it down" for her is stopping to chew two pieces of kibble at one time.
Her energy is fine, except for about an hour after throwing up.
She's on Eagle Pack Holistic, been on it for nearly two months, this started about two weeks ago. I prefer Innova but she didn't have soft stools on it, she had loose ones, so I had to switch.
Yes, she will be in at the vet, I just need to know if I'm missing any other symptoms? Anything else I should keep an eye out for to bring to the vet's attention?
Thank you.

This happens with my two when I get them on a too rigid of a feeding schedule and abruptly change. Their bodies are gearing up for a meal and when I don't produce it they get rid of the acid this way. They did it nearly daily when I shifted from feeding twice a day to once a day for about 7-10 days and now they do it occassionally (1-2 times a month) with no ill effects (except a grossed out mommy)

I can only speak from my personal experience here (and see post below titled "another dog food question" to see what I'm talking about)... but I noticed karma has this problem with certain dog foods... but the throwing up bile and loose stools also accompanied her stomach making churning sounds... like if she was lying next to me I could actually hear the acid churning in her stomach. So, while I don't know if it's the same with your dog (who seems to eat about the same way Karma does....) but you might want to keep an ear out for it. I find it usually happens in the morning, but not always. Just a thought and good luck to your pup!

Well from my experience, what you are describing is something that my dogs do when their stomachs are empty. I would still take her in when you can because it also could be something like and inflamed pancreous, not to really worry to much about that, been there done that, or like Willow who has a protein intolerance. Is your dog nervous or high strung in anyway? This too can be a symptom of a dog with anxiety. Dogs just like people can have nervous stomachs and that can cause digetive upset. I was told by a vet once that dogs can even get Colitus, and for the same reasons people do. So when you can ask your vet ALOT OF questions, and I am sure they will get to the bottom of it.

She's very alert, but I wouldn't call her high strung. The only time she's ever anxious is after I leave for work, and this has occured when I'm in the house, so I can't make a call on it being her nerves without the professional medical opinion.
I'll keep an ear out as well! Thank you!

Moosie used to have this problem, but I actually just started to leave the food out, and let her eat it whenver she wants it, and I haven't had any bile since.

I changed the time her food goes down in the morning to a little bit later (after leaving it out once to see when she took interest in it) and we've been bile free for the last few days.
Thank you for the shared experiences!
(and if it were anything more than puddles of bile on occassional times, she would have been in the vet ASAP)
