My pup has only met my husband once when he was home for emergency leave, but absolutly feel in love with him. I went on a short road trip with her and I said, "Your daddy is comming home soon." so she got all excited and thought we were going to see him. But she was soooo tired, so she sat in the seat and leaned up against it, even her head (like it was too heavy to hold up) but everytime we slowed down she would pop up like she had all of the energy in the world. hahaha what silly things do your dogs do?

Shortly after I adopted Finn, his protective instincts kicked in, but at 6 or 7 months of age he didn't really know what to do with them.
So at night, long after the rest of the household had turned in, he would stand guard at the bedroom window, staring out into the blackness just in case something wicked came our way.
Of course, he'd eventually fall asleep despite his best intentions, and I'd find him dead to the world in the morning, still sitting upright, face leaning against a totally breath-fogged window.
After a few weeks of this, I think he realised that it was hard work for no reward, and he gave up sentry duty for a big soft bed.

Oh wait here is another one. My dear departed Sadie (Lab) loved to play. Her favorite toy was a 5 gallon bucket that for some reason had a rope attached to the handle(kids) She would pick it up and spin herself and the bucket around untill she got so dizzy she would fall over You gotta love the lab.

When Peeka is gassy she will toot and then turn around like "whoa...what was that" then sniff the air.

Kacy knows she's not allowed on the furniture, so she climbs up in my husband's lap, puts her head on his shoulder and stretches one toe out until it hits the floor. "not on the couch, mom, see"

When I am playing ball out in the yard, if a ball goes over the fence or on the roof in the gutter, my dog will stand at the spot that the ball left our property and WILL NOT resume play until I get the ball. ::)So I have to carry a spare and pretend that I found the lost ball so he will start to play again. I don't know if this is "silly" or just plain weird.

One more. When I put my dog in a downstay to prevent mauling when someone he loves comes to the door, he will stretch his body out like a rubber band to get closer. Technically, he isn't breaking the stay and it is so funny. ;D You don't realize how long a dog is until they stretch to full capacity.

Peeka is the same way Nicki with her stetching. It drives me insane! She's my brainless furkid. Kuma doesn't really do much funny or weird stuff. Actually when she was a puppy we got her a childrens wading pool. All the sudden I started finding her standing IN her water bowl. It was annoying but cute at the same time. I'd just start laughing and she'd look at me like "What? What'd I do? This is what you taught me..." Peeka eats Kuma's hair. She'll pull it right out of her. Drives me crazy! And when I'm brushing the bails of fur out of Kuma's coat Peeka will sneak around me and eat the fur when I'm not looking! I swear she's a crackhead... I always have to leave my doors cracked a little bit. I can't close them all the way for some reason. Peeka has to have them standing wide open. She will barge into a room and then leave and if I close the door again she will barge into the room again....every time.... She hits her head hard on everything but it doesn't phase her a bit. She steps on people's feet CONSTANTLY. It hurts! She's such a painful dog. You cannot be mad at her! The second you lower your voice or say "no" she instantly wags her tail wildly comes over with her head ducked just a little and her ears back and rubs into you affectionately like "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Don't be mad!" Ugh...I could go on forever about her....
