Research at Tuft Uni showed that a low protein diet could help limit aggressive episodes in dog who exhibited territorial aggression due to fear. There is a breif article about it at Leerburg....
The article didn't say what the dogs were eating before they were switched to the new diet - or what the specific components of the new diet were - so I think there is a lot of stuff that wasn't controlled for here...It also seems tryptophan was introduced as well - which could have had the effect - Interested in your thoughts on the idea.

I haven't read the article, but I would have to know who did the study, i.e. pet food company? What were the aggressive dogs eating, what did they switch them too etc.
If I remember right, this *study* was addressed on the rawfeeding site. I will see if I can dig it up. ;D
