I had just gotten up this a.m. and let my dogs out and saw a black streak run across the yard. I knew it was too fast for Pup, and too dark for Kerra, so I went out barefoot and pj's (in the rain) and there was a young female huskie running around with my dogs! She was dragging a cable with a broken snap, so I called her and brought her in the house, because I sure don't want her getting killed!
She's beautiful! Blk/wt with blue eyes and not very big.
The first thing she did, Ann, is mouth my hand! ;D
At 8:00 I have to call the town Secretary and see who is in charge of loose dogs.

I'm glad *Star* came to *visit*, but I was glad to return her to her owner! I forgot how energetic young dogs, and esp. Huskies can be! She and Kerra got tearing around the house and Star was doing broad jumps over Kerra and then diving under my bed! Hysterically funny to watch, but I wouldn't have had a bedroom left in one piece for long!!! I called the Secretary and she said there is no *dog catcher* in our small town, so I tied her to the front porch post so incase her owner came by looking for her they would see her. I gave her a bucket of water, but made the mistake of using a plastic bucket. After she took a good drink, she put holes in the bucket! The next time I checked on her, I cracked up! I have an old wheelborrow I plant flower's in, and she was sitting on top of the dirt in it, like *Queen of the Hill*!!! I then gave her a meaty beef bone to keep her occupied and did she love that!!! She sure had no trouble figuring out what to do with it! I then started driving/calling around and found out where she lives. The young lady was really happy to get her back. She had gone out this a.m. and Star broke the snap on the cable while she was gone. The owner was taking stuff out of her car when I drove up and asked if she was missing a Huskie. She looked/sounded very worried when she said *yes, I am*. Probably thought I was going to say she had been hit by a car! So...she is safely back home and I have done my good deed for the day!!! ;D
