Just because of some sketchy things going on lately at another site I have promoted at, you may want to go into your profiles and hide your email addresses. It seems as though someone from that site or a hacker has taken information from that site and is using it and I don't wish that upon anyone here. A lot of people from there are getting not just one but numerous viruses from strange emails supporting dog forums (which turned out not to be) and things like that. Hiding your e-mail address from the public is the best way to ensure the saftey and privacy of your personal email account. It's always best to hide at least your email address online for these reasons. You can always correspond through PM's and exchange email addresses in private if you are interested. That way would probably be safer. It is ultimately your choice. Remember that please Also please make sure you keep your virus protection regularly updated. If you have "live update" where it does it automatically for you, make sure you manually visit the site yourself at least once a week for any other updates. Something people are not aware of with this is your computer will not update items which would need a computer re-boot automatically.

ya, you do have to be careful...but a rule of thumb: just don't open ANY attachments. ever! even if they're from your friends. even your friend can send unwanted viruses. it just happens. if someone needs to send a pic...tell them not to attach it, just include it by pasting it in. but never open any email from someone you don't know. if it's impt,...they'll write you again
