Willow enjoys her bath, in fact all I have to say is BATHTIME and she runs in to the bathroom and jumps in the tub. Brody does not mind his bath but he does not have the enthusiasm that she does

Neither of mine particularly enjoy it but they tolerate it very well. We have an old Claw Foot tub so I have to lift them in but once in they just stand there and give me "the look." You know the look. "Mom! Why don't you love me anymore? I was just starting to smell good."

With Rocky, we did it a few times in the bathtub but that is when he was about 60lb...now at 90lb, the bathtub 'ain't an option anymore...we got smart and went and bought one of those heavy plastic kids pool last summer...we fill it up with water and he's jumping in and out of it all day. At one point, he's in there and just by chance (ha) there is some doggy shampoo nearby and a bucket...well, within minutes, our boy is lathered up and wondering what happened...we try to do this on a very warm day and it works out good..he's clean, cool and smells nice!!
Don't know about Nikki yet...we'll see but her temperment is such that she's up for just about anything..I'm sure she'll have some reservations but when she sees what we do with Rocky, I hope she'll just jump right in too.

My dog loves water but definitely wants bath time over. I trap him in the shower stall which has a glass door and he can't get out. Of course, I get soaked. He HATES to have his head sprayed so I have to do that part with a face cloth. The things we do for our dogs!!

Awww, what a sad face! Monsta is completely pathetic at bath time. Bear in mind that this is a dog who swims like a fish - he will charge head first into any river, and loves to play retrieve in the ocean even in the middle of winter. But say "bathtime!" and he looks at you like he'd rather be PTS. Sometimes I just don't get dogs.

Neither one of my dogs "like" a bath, although Kara loves to swim. Buddy will "wade" into the water but when it gets chest deep, he wants OUT! But! They are such sweet, trusting dogs that when I tell them to get into the tub, they will jump right in, albeit looking like they are about to meet their "maker". My sweet hubby just modified the downstairs shower stall so I can hook up the hose to it, which will be a lot easier!
