I didn’t know where to post this so I made a new thread. I hope noone gets mad, I have been making a lot of threads lately. Anyways here my little tale. I took Jetta out to go potty, and she had a #1 but no #2. So we went back in and I gave her a bath. After the bath she started pooping on the floor. So I scrambled to get her collar and leash on. We went out and she peed again but no poop. So back in we go and I’m kicking myself for not waiting long enough in the first place. But then she starts looking at me and going to the door. So I’m like “ok you want to go out again?” So out we go and she pooped. I guess she had been holding it for me after all. *Hugs Dog, kicks self.*

Are you kidding...keep up the threads!! ;D That is what makes it fun. I can never think of anything to start a thread with. What a good girl Jetta is and don't fret about your mistake. I have been in that situation too many times to mention. And the dog forgives us every time!! Here is a funny story about a mistake that I made. When Reign was a pup I taught him to go potty with a "go pee pee" command. That was cute when he was 20lbs but not after he grew to a massive dog and I am standing in public saying go pee pee. Anyway, when he was a pup I took him everywhere with me..shopping etc. So one day we were leaving and I said (because mind you I always have conversations with my dog)...wait one minute I have to GO PEE PEE. Yes I said this to my puppy. Well no sooner did I close the bathroom door that I hear water rushing on the hard wood floor. I quickly open the door and there is a baby Reign looking at my surprised face peeing right outside the bathroom door and saying "what is the problem mom, you said go pee pee." I barely could stop from bursting out laughing and rushed him outside and of course never ever uttered those words inside again. We all make mistakes!!!

Both those stories are soooo funny! One good thing when you get old and senile like me....I don't remember the mistakes I have made over the years!! JK....and it would take too long to list all of them!

Tammi, don't feel bad. I have done exactly the same thing, as I'm sure many here have. We learn, we grow, we become better, and our dogs continue to forgive our silly mistakes. Nicole, what a great story! That's exactly the reason that I use the phrase "Get Busy!" to let my dogs when it's time to give it a try. As much as I talk with my dogs, I just know that if I used the same phrase for me going that I use for them going, I would have my pups peeing right outside the bathroom door every time! Too funny.
