Ok maybe I am slow but is this upgrade completed? I ask because now when you post a reply there is no where to check that you want to be notified if someone answers. Can we no longer get mail to our email address? Just wondering

Edited again to say yes you have to be logged in to see the avatar. That's interesting.

hows the script error now nicki? I've got a lot of work to do... hang in there if you are still getting it. Just let me know though. I'm still trying to figure out some things and where some of the features (new and old) are/went. I did edit a lot of the codes out that we didn't necessarily need. That doesn't mean I didn't miss parts of them. So I wouldn't be surprised if you still got script errors. Its a busy weekend but I'll keep workin on it.

I ask because now when you post a reply there is no where to check that you want to be notified if someone answers. Can we no longer get mail to our email address? Just wondering This is what I've found on that Bookmarks (4)We are introducing a new system to replace the notifications system. Using the bookmarks system, you will be able to bookmark different threads and have quick access to them from your profile screen. For each bookmark, you can specify whether you would like to receive a PM, an email, or receive no notification when a new post is made in the thread that is bookmarked. You will only receive notification that a thread has been updated one time until you view the thread again. This means that if 10 people post before you get back to a thread, you still only get notified once. Once you view the thread, you may then receive notifications again. An option will be available to set what your default notification action should be for threads you bookmark. For example, you can set your default action to be to PM you. Then any time you bookmark a thread in the future, it will automatically set that bookmark to notify you by PM of any updates. You can access your bookmarks section through you profile page once you've bookmarked them.

Thanks Brooke. You are doing a great job. I am still getting the error. It is the same one every time. It only happens when I click on a forum not if I click on the thread from the side thing. This is the error: 'this.getElementsByTagName(...)(...)href' is null or not an object. It is at line 302 and char 35. I don't know if that is helpful to you! ;D

Apparently so Nicki....what are you using for a browser...I.E., Firefox, Netscape?
You're seeing a script error cuz there is a setting on your browser to show them....most times, they (script errors) can be ignored by the browser but if you want to see them, depending on the browser setup, you can.

Hi Richard. No I most definitely do not want to see them. I didn't know I could set it on ignore. I am still using the IE. I am going to go hunting for the ignore button. Why on earth would they even give someone the option of seeing this. Who would want to be constantly interrupted.
I am really loving the spell check!! ;D

Try this...found this and I think it describes exactly what is happening on your computer....
How to disable script and runtime errors in Internet Explorer Are you getting annoying messages such as "A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug?" or "Internet Explorer Script Error. An error has occurred in the script on line 1. Do you wish to continue running scripts on this page?"
There are three reasons why these problems occur. The first is that the web page author made some programming error. The second reason may be that you are running a pop-up killer that closes pop-up windows so fast that the script on the web page fails. The third is that you might have some adware or spyware installed on your computer that opens the script error pop-ups.
How to disable script and runtime errors You can configure Internet Explorer to ignore these script and runtime errors. Please follow this step-by-step guide:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click on Tools, then on Internet Options.
3. Click on the Advanced tab.
4. Look for the " disable script debugging" line and put a check mark in the box.
5. Now look for the " display a notification about every script error" line and remove the check mark in the box.
That should clear up the problem....

Thanks Richard. The disable script debugging was already checked and the display notification of script errors was already not checked. But there is also a show friendly http error message that is checked. Could that relate to a script error.
