Hi everyone. As you can see my name is Tammi I am 21 years old. My dog’s name is Jetta, it means Black Gem. I got her from a free ad in the paper. She was 9 months old at the time. And almost everything her ex-owners said about her was not true. They said she was house broke, and leash trained. They said she did not chase cats. HA HA HA she will chase anything that moves. As for house breaking, well we are working on that. And about her on a leash, she tries to drag me around the yard. Well she is doing much better now, and I love her.

Welcome aboard Tammi....
Sorry to hear Jetta's previous owners told you a bunch of fibs but that is probably why they got rid of her. Sounds like they weren't very good dog owners (and lousy liers to boot!!)
But it sounds like she's in a much better home now with you..hope you enjoy your stay here...

Thinks K9, for the reply. You know, when they were telling me all that stuff I was just taking it with a grain of salt. I was thinking to myself, “sure, if she is house trained then why is she jumping all over me, like she almost never gets off a chain?” but then I thought, here this dog is, just out of the cute puppy stage and if she goes to a shelter her chances of getting a home are not good. I work from home so I have the time to work with her. So here I am. And you know if I had the chance I would take her again. And something that is funny. My fiance told me, when had just met him, that he didn’t like dogs. . He such a sucker for Jetta. But I kinda new he liked them because of the way he acted with his moms dog. Just a week in to me having her. He heard me calling Jetta “my dog” and he was like “well she is kinda my dog too.” He didn’t get why that made me so happy. So I just told him I was glad that he likes her. Boy am I glad. And as for this web sight I love it. It is a good thing what you peeps are doing here.

Hello, and welcome to the board. I'm sure you'll do a good job training Jetta, and sounds like she was lucky you came into her life. I look forward to hearing more about both of you .

Welcome to RBD Tammi! ;D Sounds like she's got it pretty good now. Nothing that can't be helped with some consistancy and effort. So don't be shy around here. ;D
