Hi, I've already posted several times in the "problem dogs" board, but thought I'd better be polite and introduce myself properly. ;D My name's Rachel, I'm from New Zealand, and I'm lucky enough to own a beautiful Staffy Bull Terrier called Monsta (photo below!) I got him about a year ago from a friend who loved him, but just didn't have the time to look after him properly. Since I've got him he's blossomed - he's a much politer and happier animal. Friendly to his family (including the cats!) and loves strangers. His only major problem is ongoing dog aggression. We're currently going to dog school once a week, and sending him to " doggy daycare" once a week in an attempt to get him socialised with a friendly and consistant group of dogs. He's my first dog, and has been a bit of a handfull at times. I can't tell you how many books on dog psychology and dog behavior I've read since I got him, yet he still manages to think up new things to puzzle me! Like I said, I've already posted once about his dog aggression "problem", and received lots of helpful advice... thanks everyone, and nice to meet you all! Rachel And yes, here's my handsome boy...

What a sweetie! He looks like such a love. ;D (I'm lovin the avatar by the way.) Having a dog with those kind of issues really makes you dig right in. I know where you are coming from. I didn't really take the full dive until I got Peeka. She had those problems from day one with animals and people. Welcome to the board by the way ;D

Welcome to the board and thanks for the intro. I promise to post some ideas on stopping dog aggression when I get a few minutes. Nice markings on your tough boy.
