Took me a while to find more than just a suggestion. "Speaking of Alaskan adventurers, Birchwood's John Suter is peddling a movie script, a romantic comedy based on his infamous Iditarod stint in which he mushed a team of poodles to Nome. (Don't snicker. He finished in the middle of the pack in each of his four Iditarods, from 1988 to 1991.) John says he's already gotten a few bites from some agents on the movie idea. He also has his own Web site, still under construction but ready to visit at www.ninestar.com/fpc/lab17" In the Alaska Star There's also something in San Francisco called the Urban Iditarod in which some street Poodles competed in 2003, but not the same thing.

Beau is gorgeous. When I walk our Great Dane we sometimes pass a white one. They have such soft coats!

Thanks Darth. Yeah they do have nice coats. I gave Beau a hair cut on Sunday. He protested a little at first but when he figured out that this was going to happen he behaved like a gent.
I had a Great Dane a long time ago. He was such a sweet dog. Most people who met him expected him to be fierce and aggressive just because he was big. They never figured he'd be such a love hound. I still miss him.
