There is woman who 2 times daily walks her dog past my house, and she uses a flexi leash, and a rather long one at that The first time I thought the dog was loose because he was out in front of her about 20+ feet and I did not see the owner, well then there she was She has not consideration or respect for anyone's lawns because she allows her dog to run onto everyones property and never trys to get him back. Well the other day I had Raven outside with me and she is a bit on the snappy side with strange dogs, well I have a fence so we do work on manners when a dog passes by. Well low and behold here comes the dog and everything was fine untill he decides to leap my retaining wall and stand on my front lawn Raven got a bead on him and it was not a pretty site, I think she scared the dog pretty good but it still did not back off. I of course go over and correct her and then she got a bit snappy with me BAD DOG but then 20 ft later here comes the owner and she has the nerve to say to me " YOUR DOG IS WAY TO AGGRESIVE " Ok well it don't have the quick comebacks like I use to so it took me a minute to respond When I got over the shock of her statement I uttered out " YOUR DOG HAS NO BUISNESS ON MY LAWN" she grumbled WELL WE HAVE A RIGHT TO WALK ON THE SIDEWALK, and I replied YES YOU DO BUT IS YOUR DOG ON THE SIDEWALK?? she said YOU SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT DOG, and I replied and YOU should do something about yours. This could have gone on forever back and forth etc... and in the mean time Raven is getting more agitated because the volume of our converstation was not talking it was very heated and the woman by this time is standing on my front lawn, with her dog who is getting a bit rattled by Raven. I said LEAVE and if I see your dog on my lawn again I will call AC. Well that was done and over and I got MISS GROWLY PANTS under controll, not easy. So yesterday I finally got to mow the lawn which is an all day process for me now but I refuse to give that up so I just take my time, and in the process I stepped in like 10 piles of POOP not from my dogs because they were on the side of the house that the dogs are not allowed to go I knew that these came from HER DOG I decided to wait for her, and instead of having Raven outside with me I TOOK THE ENFORCER Miss Willow. Willow has a ROCK SOLID RECALL and in no circumstance would she disobey me and she has the most AWSOME OUT you would ever want to see. She also would never attack a dog or start a fight. So instead of being inside the fence we sat on the otherside of the house out of sight to a passer by but still had full veiw of the sidewalk ;D Well here she came dog first 20 ft out in front and sure enough up onto my lawn in that very same area where I got SLIMED WITH POOP Well Willow was watching and holding her stay so then I said to her LET'S GO We slowly started walking towards the dog who by this time was in the process of doing his BIZ When we got close enough I said to Willow "GO CHECK THAT OUT " she smiled and went to work She very proudly trotted up gave her warning bark which makes my hair stand on end and YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THAT WOMAN If there would have been a PILE on the sidewalk it would not have been from her DOG She screamed to me YOUR DOG IS NOT ON LEASH I think I live in an area with CRACK HEADS I said YOUR DOG IS CRAPPING IN MY YARD I then proceeded to throw a large plastic bag in her direction and said CLEAN UP YOUR CRAP INCLUDING THE LOAD YOU DROPPED ON THE SIDEWALK and DO NOT allow your dog in my yard again she then replied YOUR DOG NEEDS TO BE ON LEASH, I said NOT IN MY OWN YARD SHE DOSE'NT and Willow is just calmly sitting by my side not moving holding her position never once did she try and cross the property line ;D Well she cleaned up her poop while I put Willow in a down and we both watched I finished the conversation with "Just so you know, she IS outside off leash with me ALOT (no not very often) so you might want to keep your dog on a shorter leash ALL IN A DAYS WORK
