I posted about the Aussie who had surgery to remove a dart like object from her hip/spine. It was 3 -3 1/2 " long, and was completely under the skin with nothing on the outside, so it was only detected by x-rays.
The object was finally identified. It is the "needle" to inflate/deflate basketballs etc.!
Now the question is: How in the world did that get so embedded into her, because it would take terrific force to push that into bone and not have any part of it showing on the outside.
The good news is that Ariel is 100% o.k. now and has her own wonderful family, at last.

Thanks, Nicki. I am so thankful the Aussie rescue took her in and had her x-rayed. Sheri thought HD, which she does have, but only mildly and it doesn't bother her right now.
