You know... Maybe I'm being stupid here. I'm not really angry or anything but just thoroughly confused. I've been surfing a bunch of boards tonight. I'm trying to figure out what so many online petitions are supposed to accomplish? It doesn't seem as though there is anything that is going to be done with them. I see people creating petition after petition. Some are habitually creating petitions over anything and everything... Does anyone ever ask "What are you going to do with it?" Don't get me wrong... I can understand some of them do serve a goal and I'm more than willing to participate if I believe in it and there is something that will possibly be accomplished by it but if the creator isn't planning on doing something with it... whats the purpous in waisting people's time? Why not just create a poll?

I agree Brooke! Here Mr Serial Killer this is my first and LAST name and LOCATION why not give out your whole address and daily schedule. You wouldnt want to make it difficult for someone to find you. I HIGHLY doubt any of them serve a "purpose". Personally I delete them, then that person gets blocked I HATE THOSE STUPID EMAILS!!!!

HA, I just got one of those regarding the banning of pit bulls. (I have a APBT-obsessed friend who sends me ALL this pittie stuff on a daily basis.. I don't think she knows that I already got my pup and it's not a pittie)
There is no purpose. They don't do anything. Maybe if there was one big official poll, it would be better, but 200 little petitions are never going to get any recognition. Personally I won't sign them, I delete them. the last thing I want to do is put ALL my contact information on the internet for the entire population to see.
