Ok I am over it and I think I handled it well, everyone may comment I would appreciate it. I took the dogs for a walk early AM. I like to do that on my day's off because it is very peacfull. Everything was fine, untill we got back to the house and I went around the block to the back. The little dog next door was outside in the her yard, my dogs see her on a regular basis, and have built a tolerence to her. Willow spotted her and went INSANE Growling, snarling, teeth nashing then BLADE started OH THAT REALLY MAD ME MAD It took all I had to get them to stop so I could get them back in the yard. I had the coupler on so I was not using pinch collars. Well I put Blade in the kennel went in got Willow's pinch collar and we went over and did some work. I took her right back over to the fence where this started and evertime she even looked at that dog funny I popped her. I then went aroung the block several times and when we would get close I watched her to see if she was tensing up, and when she did I popped her and said LEAVE IT. I did this untill she walked past without even looking at that little dog. I praised her for being a good girl, and then I went and got Blade (no pinch) he did not even look at the little dog, which is normal for him. I think he just got caught up in the excitement when Willow started. Well I thought I could get away without using a pinch on her and for everything else I can, but this issue WILL STOP NOW. DOGS ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR The poor elderly lady was feeling bad because Willow yipped a few times from getting popped, but I explained to her, in lew of the recent dog on dog attacks I wanted to make sure my dogs at least knew better then to even think about trying something like this. I said I want them to be well behavied, and the only way to get them that way is to have a NO TOLERENCE POLICY. I also explained that because Willow is a pup she must learn NOW, what is acceptable. She understood.
