We weren't sure how this would work, but tried anyway! Pete, our 12 week old Queensland Heeler, was hating the kennel (we've had him 3 weeks) so we tried him in the house at night. He had been doing OK housbreaking-wise, so what the heck, right?
Anyway, he has been sleeping in my daughter's room for two weeks now. The first week she would get up and take him out to pee (twice at first, then only once). Now, Pete sleeps all night long. Last night, he woke her up (nudging, small whining sound) and she took him out to pee, then back to bed!!
Pete is also learning the Sit, Stay, Drop it, and (slowly) Down commands. Bright dogs!

Sounds like you gotta keeper there ;D Some puppies do really well in the potty training dept and it does not take them long to get with the program, then there are others that it takes awhile longer. That is great that your pup at this young age can hold it and is learing to let someone know when he has to go potty.

I wish they all were that easy. ;D It's great that at least you can enjoy it. It sounds like you are doing a great job with him.

Nice going, I love the pups that make it look so easy and then they ruin you for any others in the future ;D.
