Hello everybody
I had to re-register here because I've been gone for so long. Oh well, I'm back. I have no canine problems but I thought I'd drop by for a while and see how all of your are doing.
You may remember me with a sheltie that had to be re-homed because of issues with biting and my elderly mother.
She is doing fantastic with her new mama, who just happens to be a dog behaviorist She's doomed!!!!!
I have a lovely little girl now named Brandwyn (Brandi for short) and she wouldn't think of disobeying me...... Of course she doesn't have the spirit or the drive that my Magic did, but she's a completely different dog and she fits our lifestyle much better than Magic ever did.
She is a perfect little lady at all times and doesn't ever get into things or run away or not comply when I tell her to sit or lie down or stay. Her leash manners are perfect and she will sit and wait for me for as long as I want her to. I'm in heaven and love it. Consequently I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop around here so to speak. I have had her since June 27th and so far she hasn't given me a minutes worth of disobedience. Please, don't get me wrong I'm not complaining, it's just sooo different to have one that is willing to mind all the time. That's why I don't post I don't have any problems....
I have had some bad health problems tho I ended up taking a long ride in an ambulance to have emergency surgery and have a pacemaker implanted back in the beginning of October. I'm ok now and am in my Florida home waiting out the winter months. But I was so close to death they wouldn't even let me get out of bed once I got into the hospital. I never knew I was that bad off but they were really concerned and wouldn't even let me go to the bathroom till after that device was implanted.
