Hi all,
You may or may not remember me from my single post (Sitka runs away!), probably a year ago, on these forums. Cibemom, Larua, willow and others tried to help me with Sitka and his running away. Unfortunately, and mostly due to my not having enough time for him, Sitka never improved in this area. This, and also for the same reasons you will see below, let me to find a better home for him. I believe he is well taken care of and his new owner is happy.
You may or may not also remember that prior to "adopting" Sitka, my wife had bought me a siberian husky puppy for christmas, which was stolen two weeks later. Well, it turns out that three months after that, we received a call and were able to recover Tikki. Now we had two huskies that we didn't have time for Both beautiful, both loving, and both wild.
My wife happens to also love cats. The huskies have not only killed three of our cats, but also (when they have gotten loose) the neighbors' cat and another neighbor's (over a mile away) chickens).
So... We have found Sitka a good home, but have not been able to find anyone to purchase or adopt Tikki. IF I was single with no kids; IF I had the money to build an awesome fence, or even to buy an underground system big enough; IF IF IF.... But the reality is, we can't keep Tikki.
It would be greatly appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction to sell or adopt Tikki out. He is an ACA Registered, 15 month old, whole male black and white siberian husky. He would pull a sled (or anything you attached to him). He will not co-exist with cats (without some serious behavior modification). He has never shown any agression towards any human, including my 1 and 3 year old children. He will run away (although not far), and he is not housebroken.
Again, any help finding a home for him would be appreciated. It breaks my heart to be such a "failure" to him, and he would be a wonderful dog for the right person. Here are links to a couple snapshots of him:

PS. I also took in a chocolate lab recently.. Named him Boomer, and he was going to be my "perfect" dog. Before I could get him to the vet for shots and such, however, he died of parvo. We have one more dog, the best dog in the world (i'm sure you've never heard that before), Katie. She's St. Bernard and *something*, and is the most loyal dog I have ever seen in my life Someday we'll find her a buddy that will stick around...
