It's been mighty quiet around here of late but I suspect it's more the time of year than anything causing that so with out taking too much more time from your last minute holiday preparations, I just wanted to say Happy Holidays to everyone and wish you all the Best in 2007!!

Happy Holidays everyone! I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Holiday season. I got a new vacuum and a doggie bed for Christmas. ;D I guess if the husband gets mad at me he is hinting that I can't have the couch anymore. Actually, I think that Sadie's new bed is more comfortable than the couch. I gave my vacuum its initiation to our home. No telling when the dog hair will take down the mechanical beast. I wonder if this one will last longer than 4 months. Who am I kidding?! I don't know if my husband will be out of the hospital before New Years. Either way, we will celebrate together. Everything is going well on our end. How is your husband Dom?

He came back from the Hospital Wed. The doctor wanted him to stay another week but the hospital is very thin on staff. It was taking around 30 minutes for the nurses to answer him after he pushed the nurse button. They were suppose to remove the drain tube today but that is not going to happen because he is still draining over 150 in a day. The doctor wants it down to 20. This will be his 8th? 9th? (I can't remember anymore ) hernia surgery in the last 3-4 years. The doctor is hoping this mesh will hold up. We are crossing our fingers. Luckily, the place on his head, was only a cyst. He is still in a lot of pain and has to sleep on the couch because it is the only place he can get comfortable. He says sometimes it worries him when he wakes up to find both dogs sitting 5 inches from his face staring at him. Sadie has been attached to his hip since he got home. We are hoping 2007 will be a better year. He will finish school this year and, if the surgery works, he will begin job hunting. I am sure the dogs like having a "stay at home dad" but being in the house all day is driving him crazy.
