Hey Ann,
Thanks for the update. I am sorry to hear your pain is getting worse. I do hope though that the Doctor on Wednesday will offer some new methods to control it. Hang in there eh? I know it's gonna get better for you!!
The limpyness that Raven has, when did that start? I do hope it's nothing serious.
I made it through my course <finally> and now I'm on a few days off before I start Friday night. I'm just glad to have survived the training in one piece (3 people got fired at the 4th week) and hopefully things will get back to normal soon.

GREAT JOB RICHARD I love the new pic of the Sheppy's ;D Raven started her limping with the classical signs of Pano, shifted from one limb to the other, never really causing her alot of pain just limpy. Now it seems to have concentrated to her left side specificly in her left front shoulder. I am concerned it is elbow displaysia, and with her limpy left back leg I think she is like me and has more than one thing going on at the same time. We will find out today, and then choices will have to be made. Andy and I talked about it and we will do what is best for her on the advice from our vet. I am hoping this is just some inflamatory issue becasue that can be managed. I do notice now though she is showing some signs of pain which she did'nt before. She is loosing muscle tone in that front leg, and off her food a bit, then too she has this ITCHY THING GOING ONE Poor girl We will get it taken care of though. The hip thing does not bother me as much as possiable ED but like I said we will do what we have to to get her through this.

Hi Ann, Any update on Raven's condition from the vet visit today? You were mentioning itchy and I was gonna say now that the cooler weather is here, Nikki is itching again. I turned on the humidifier to add some moisture to the air in the house but she still has some scratching issues. I know it's not food related cuz we've not done anything different since switching over to the Eagle Pack Holistic with her. I figure it's just the dry air cuz her nose is dry too. As for the new sheppy pic, we had a family portrait done last week and we brought the dogs with us. We had them taken at a nearby store. The photo studio was downstairs beside the elevator so we came in from the upper level and waited at the elevator door - which was right beside those doors which was good cuz we really didn't want to go wandering through the store to the photo studio. When it opened, a couple of older ladies walked out and both stopped for a second (slight shock) when they saw Nikki and Rocky. The dogs were in a sit/stay and the ladies passed us with no problem (but really wanted to get away fast I think). The photographer was impressed on how well the dogs behaved and listened during the shoot. We were in and out in about 20 minutes after several different poses - of course, on the way out, we passed a few people who gave us some strange looks and we replied: "It's ok, the store is safe now - you can carry on shopping".

Thanks for the update Ann.
70lb?? Wow, that is good. Raven sounds like she's doing well weight-wise.
I hope the meds will get rid of the pano and the itchyness too without having to move onto the anti-biotics.

It sounds like you are feeling a little better. I hope that is the case and both you and Raven are pain free soon.
