I did not hear from Em yesterday and I did not watch the news but I did try and call Em last night and there something up with the phones NOW I KNOW WHY They had an earthquake yesterday I still have not got in touch with her but I will try later. OH MY GOD POOR EM she must have been terrified I can just imagine how frightening that must have been. I remember slight quakes once and awhile when I was growing up but nothing significant, and I grew up very near the Kettle Moraine so nothing unusual about that. I guess it was a pretty big quake rating 6.6 and after shocks of 5.8 not huge but BIG ENOUGH I will let you know once I get in touch with her

I was busy all day yesterday too and didn't hear about it until last night, and of course immediately thought of Em and you! I am sure she is o.k., but as you said...terrified! What a thing to go through by yourself. Keep us posted.

Em is as well as can be expected She called me early this morning and told me how frightening it was, and that her and Keylo had hid under the kitchen table. She said she was sleeping when it woke her up with the bed shaking then she realized EVERYTHING WAS SHAKING Keylo was running around crying and barking and SHAKING TO :-[WOW I would never want to go through that . They were without power for 12 hours and some parts of OAHU are still with out power. I think what botherd her the most was that everyone was running around like chickens with their head cut off and there was no MP presence at all Obvioulsy they do not have a definate disaster plan in place, but I THINK THEY SHOULD WORK ON SOMETHING After shocks will be coming for a few days yet but nothing like the inital quake. I am just glad they are ok. I told her she will have LOTS TO TELL when her and Luke come home in March
