LOL noooo, Ripley doesn't know 200 tricks, that was just an exaggeration. He knows about 20 tricks, which I still think is pretty good for an 11 month old. ;D

Lol..whoops. 20 tricks is very good for an 11-month old, if I say so myself. Keep up the good work with Ripley.

I go through a whole series of commands..sit, come, follow me in a heel... down..dead with head down and still..sing/bark..stay.. all with hand signals only and I think it is sooooooo impressive. Ok it isn't 200 or 20 things but most people are like wow!! Tell those people they are the ones that are not too bright and then show them where Ripley falls in the intelligence ranking. ;D

My opinion, but I prefer hand signals because they force the dog to be watching you at all times. If he isn't, I just say "Ripley" and then when he looks up I give him a hand signal... He's working on "hide" again where I have him cover his eyes with his paw.. He did it well for awhile but now he's regressed.. It's nothing more than a 'wave' with his head lowered, I don't think he even touches his nose. He'll do anything to get out of doing what I want.
