I know I haven't been around much, but things are busy and I can't seem to find time to visit more than a few sites!
Anyway, I've been contemplating feeding raw for a while now. I have been feeding EVO for a few years, and for a month or so now I've been feeding Nature's Variety frozen raw in the mornings and EVO at night. I'm finally comfortable enough (after reading enough!) to buy the whole raw foods and make the meals myself (it's about time, cuz it's going to be much cheaper!!!).
So, my only question is, how do I know how much to feed? Obviously there is no set answer, but how do I know where to start?
I'm going to be getting my food from K9 Adventure. I'm very excited about it and can't wait to get my order! I've already seen a major change in my girls since feeding the frozen raw diets, I can't wait to see them improve even more!
Anyway, thanks for you help!

I don't have any experience with this type of raw, but my method of calculating kibble to raw is very scientific. what I would do to start is take how much Evo you fed, and feed that much of the raw. I.E. If you fed 1/2 cup Evo per meal, feed 1/2 cup of the ground. If they lose weight, feed more. If they start gaining weight, cut back a little.

I feed Prey Model raw (basicly as whole as I can get and as many parts as I can get if whole is not possible) I start off feeding 2% of ideal adult body weight. So my dog who weighs 50 lbs get about 1 lb of food a day. Some days she gets more (2-3 lbs) if she likes and others she just has little bits (couple of ounces). She basically gets a balance of about a pound a day. Then it is necessary to adust up or down depending on the shape and activity of the dog. If they are feeling a bit thin add a couple of ounces, if they are feeling a bit chubby cut back a little. I have been doing it for a while now so much of it is my eye.
