I have known 3 people to pass separately for this week of 2005.
A 15 year old, a 33 year old and a 77 year old and I can completely say that I've thoroughly had my fill for quite awhile.
Jordan you had spirit and you were an awesome talented kid. I know your family, especially your brothers will miss the hell out of you and not to mention every life you touched. The whole city seems to be torn up by this and rightfully so. I just can't get over this. I just don't understand it.
John I haven't seen you in a few years but this just puts a knot in my throat and a pit in my stomach. To know you and to work beside you was the most amazing experience in itself. I am devestated. I used to look forward to working with you everyday as I know so many others did. You were apart of one of the most memorable wonderful things I've ever gotten to experience. You were an inspiration, a motivator and I admired you. I'm only sorry your new baby girl will never get to know such a wonderful person that I know you are. This just breaks my heart.
Chester you were one in a million and you have such a wonderful wonderful son. I know this has seemed to be coming for awhile but it's still a huge blow. You had a lot of life left in you. At least you are in a better place.

Things are getting better I think the hardest was Jordy because he was so young. It's still a shock. They created an online guestbook where his obituary was posted online. It really hit the whole city hard because he was a high school football player who was starting to shine. He was a great kid and he has a wonderful family who is known really well around here. My dad even taught him when he used to teach middle school a couple years ago. There are 43 pages posted for him so far... I think there are well over 200 entries and people are adding to it just about every day still. The paper said they autopsy came back that they found it was an enlarged heart... It's sad that a 15 year old kid dies from that His parents own a bar downtown so that is where a bunch of us are spending New Years. I think it will be good for them.
