It has already been over a year since he has passed away. We though he would make it through at least 'one more winter', but unfortunately his tumour burst, and we couldn't do anything more for him. He was the best dog even at the age of 12 he was still doling out the love. He had been the first dog I remembered, we had had one before I was 2 years old, so I didn't remember her, but Skipper had been my friend from 2 years old to 14 years old. He was also a very tough dog. He got hit twice by cars, ran over by a three-wheeler, and attacked by a black timberwolf. And still the vet always said that he was a healthy dog. Never had worms, or an ear infection, never broke a bone, or had any other problems besides his cysts and tumours (non-canerous). He will be missed by everyone that ever met him, but especially by my mom, dad, brother, me and Sheeba. He was burried behind my house in the woods, and forgett-me-nots have been planted over his grave. I hope this will give me some sense of closure to his loving life.
