I'm happy to announce we just got confirmed that Sheeba and I are going to compete in our third agility show next week-end. We are looking for a good time, and it would also be nice to get the last 15 points we need for our NADAC NAC-JH. But if the points don't happen the fun still will

Okay, now that I have some time, I can talk about the show. The weather was terrible (I was only there on Sat., I guess the weather got better on Sun.) It was windy, rainy, and very muddy. We did well and had a lot of fun. We got another 5pts toward our NAC-JH (only 10 more to go). We got three first places, but we were the only dog/handler team competing in the 16" JH division. All 5 runs were clean, but were kind of slow, considering the weather we did very nicely.

Nicely done ! And while the points are nice, you still recognize the most important thing, and that's having a good time doing it ;D. When I finally retire I'd like to get into agility a lot more (we only dabble in it now in the backyard, but it keeps the fuzzies busy ). And how exactly does one run a course with 4 inches of mud on the ground ?

How did I miss this one?? Congratulations! I agree the points don't matter it's the time invested that counts. "And how exactly does one run a course with 4 inches of mud on the ground ?" Technically I think it's more of a gallop. 4 inches of mud eh?? Now THAT sounds like FUN! ;D I'll bet it was priceless to watch tho.
