I was wasting time following a junk mail link from a well known "celebrity" dog businessman. I knew I was likely to be burned, but thought it could be amusing as I have not spared a thought for this business in a long time.
The carrot was a free ebook of Games to Play with your dog. Well, I'm always open to new ideas for training games.
So imagine my (insert appropriate emotion here) when I found myself and other founding reality members being the source of the ideas. (Sweet Sun Reys, Amyjo, Nicki you might want to check this out - scroll down to Part II. He is using our freely given advice and well meaning posts to further his own wealth creation)
(edited as an afterthought to remove the link to prevent site cross contamination. PM me if you want the web address)
If it was credible website I would probably be flattered, but as it is where it is, I should be flaming and throwing things. Perhaps I'm just in shock, or maybe age has mellowed me. Or maybe I finally understand irony. I think I am leaning towards laughing at this point - it was kind of of surreal.
I guess the moral of this post is that you can't escape your past, and the good you do will always come back to bite you.

I get chills up and down my spine just thinking about "those days" - they're not the good chills either.
Recently, when dealing with a challenging situation that could havef escalated, someone asked me , “Is this the hill you want to die on?”. I can only suggest that, after dealing with who/what we did there[/b], this is one hill I wouldn't want to be within a 1000 miles of!!!

I'm for doing all three, so I "am in" if you all want to "seek revenge". ;D I'm sure there isn't anything a person can do legally, because it was publically posted etc. ...and I know the feeling, Richard, when remembering "those days". They go on my list of regrets I am trying to forget, but do you know what I have found? The older a person gets, the more the "bad" memories and regrets seem to surface.

Somehow, I don't think I'll be adding "Quoted by the Dog God" to my resume. The idea that he may have been repackaging our posts for his own benefit for years is somewhat disturbing; however Richard's point of view kind of puts it into perspective now that the shock has worn off.

Yes, good advice Richard, and I will remember the quote when I am tempted to act before thinking! ...And after thinking about it too...it wasn't all wasted time. If it wasn't for "his" site, I might not have met some very nice, "normal" dog people. ;D
