I was in another forum and this guy was asking if he can make his dog to use a litter tray just because and i quote "I live in a condo and have decided that I don't care to be outside with Titus (my dog) at 6:00 A.M. once the daylight hours are shorter" (besides the cold and his safety) he never said where he was living exactly but i think that if he is living in a dangerous area he could be ending the conversation by sayin something like "oh well i live in the Bronx so is not very safe out there" but he didnt, i have been in the Bronx at night and i dont think it was that bad anyways but thats another topic
I answered that litter trays are for cats, just like walking your cat on a leash, i told him that white people invented the coats and flashlights
I confess that i was kind of upset because the part of "I don't care to be outside with Titus" and i told him that the excercise will be good for him and should not be that lazy
Of course the rest of the people in the forum maybe think that been called lazy is like wishing him to be dead, so everybody was mad at me and gave options to that guy about how to make the dog use the litter box
What do you think? Should dog use litter boxes?

He does not says what kind of Dog he has but he says:
"Besides, the area I set aside for this experiment is massive. Bigger than a child's sandbox."
That would give us an idea

Yuk - I won't even have a litter tray for my cats in the house as I can't stand the smell. If he can live with it then I guess that is his choice.

ahh, just imagine the size of the scoop he may need!! I've heard of people training cats to use a toliet (ok, not one that I'll sit on thankyou) but a litterbox for a dog? Does he never intend to walk the dog either? Sorry, I'd suggest he'd go get a goldfish instead! What happens if he moves out of the condo one day to a place with a yard...would he expect Fido to all of a sudden know to go in the backyard like other dogs? I'd go back to the start and question why he wants a dog anyway with such a small margin of effort he intends to put into owning him?

The funny part is that this guy tries to find any kind of excuse and not feel bad for it, he will feel anxious according to him if he takes the dog outside, he said:
"Yes, my dog doesn't like the real cold either. He just looks at me as if to ask, "ah gee, do I have to go out?".
And then i wrote back:
"I can always kick my dog and think "aw he is looking at me like he is asking for another one" when he really is thinking "why are you doing this?" riiiiight? People like to find excuses to support their wrong actions, by masking the truth to their benefit. Now if you excuse me I'm going to put my little niece in a dog crate because she wants to go out and play but that would make me anxious because there is too many bad people out there"
